Our client is a large procurement company who are looking to hire a Systems Administrator to support the day-to-day requirements in their plant hire department. General administrative duties plus coding to support the day-to-day needs of this busy department. The successful candidate will help adapt existing code and data so that different systems communicate correctly and produce the reports required by the business. Coding skills will be necessary. This position combines systems work, data analysis and general back-office administration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review and understand existing code and system processes.
  • Help adapt or rewrite code so that different systems communicate correctly.
  • Use coding and data tools to investigate and resolve data issues.
  • Check that information transfers accurately between systems.
  • Create and maintain reports for the management team.
  • Identify system errors, data discrepancies and process issues.
  • Test system changes and help resolve technical problems.
  • Maintain accurate records and system documentation.
  • Support back-office employees with system and administrative tasks.
  • Complete general office administration when required.

The successful candidate will need:
