The Regional Sales Manager will oversee direct-to-consumer sales operations within a designated geographic area, with a focus on premium energy-efficient home improvement products such as windows, extensions, and conservatories. This role involves managing a team of in-home sales consultants, ensuring outstanding customer experiences from initial enquiry through to order, and driving sales performance to meet or exceed regional targets while maintaining healthy profit margins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of field-based sales consultants to achieve and surpass regional sales goals.
  • Develop and implement a regional sales strategy focused on in-home consultations, digital leads, and showroom visits.
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching where needed, and reward high achievers to maintain motivation and productivity.
  • Ensure consistent use of a customer-focused, consultative sales process tailored to homeowners' individual needs and budgets.
  • Collaborate with marketing to optimise lead generation and improve conversion rates, while encouraging and incentivising self-generated business.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, pricing structures, regulatory compliance (including FCA guidelines), and planning and building regulations.
  • Serve as a regional ambassador for the brand by upholding high standards of professionalism, trust, and service quality in all interactions.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through regular communication, goal setting, and motivation.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a senior B2C sales role, preferably within the home improvement, glazing, or fenestration sector.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with proven success in recruiting, developing, and managing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly results-oriented and customer-focused, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
