Junior Trade After-Sales Support Assistant
The Opportunity
Our client, a manufacturer supplying windows and doors to trade customers, is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Junior Trade After-Sales Support Assistant.
The role combines administration and customer service with picking, packing and dispatching parts and supplies. If you enjoy a varied role, with time spent both in the office and out in the factory, this could be the opportunity for you.
The Role
Speak with trade customers by telephone and respond to emails, handling after-sales enquiries and requests for parts and supplies missed from original orders.
Identify the correct parts and supplies, checking requirements with customers and the factory team where necessary.
Pick and check the required items, pack them securely and arrange shipping to customers.
Keep customers informed about the progress and delivery of their requests.
Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries and dispatch details, and carry out general administration.
Work closely with colleagues to resolve queries, referring more technical questions to the appropriate person.
About You
Some experience within the window, door or wider fenestration industry is required so you can identify the correct parts and supplies.
You will have good customer-service skills, a professional telephone manner and the ability to communicate clearly by email.
Confident IT skills, attention to detail and an organised approach are essential.
You should be enthusiastic, willing to learn and happy to move between administrative duties and practical picking and packing tasks.
This is a junior position offering a varied working day and the opportunity to develop your after-sales support experience.
