With a strong reputation for quality, craftsmanship and customer care, they deliver bespoke window, door and conservatory solutions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Design Consultant to meet clients in their homes and guide them through a range of tailored product options. This is a consultative, design-led role — not high-pressure sales. The focus is on understanding each customer’s vision and providing tailored solutions that complement their property, meet practical needs, and suit their budget.
You will attend pre-booked appointments in customers’ homes, conducting detailed consultations and creating bespoke designs. You will combine strong product knowledge with a professional, trustworthy approach to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Duties & Responsibilities- Attend pre-booked home appointments and conduct detailed design consultations
- Understand and interpret each client’s vision, property requirements and budget
- Provide guidance on conservation areas, planning restrictions and Building Regulations
- Advise on suitable windows, doors and conservatory solutions
- Identify opportunities to enhance the project through appropriate upgrades and added-value options
- Ensure all proposed solutions are technically feasible and installation-ready
- Create accurate design visuals using U-Design software
- Prepare clear, detailed quotations and specifications
- Manage the consultative sales process, including follow-up visits where required
- Liaise with survey and installation teams to ensure design accuracy
- Resolve customer queries professionally and build long-term trust
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your sales pipeline effectively
- Experience within the windows, doors or conservatory industry
- Strong product knowledge across uPVC and aluminium systems
- Understanding of conservation properties and installation limitations
- Experience using U-Design software (desirable)
- Consultative sales or customer advisory experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercially aware with a customer-first mindset
- Full UK driving licence
