Our client is an established specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of architectural aluminium glazing systems, supplying solutions for commercial and residential projects. Their product range includes aluminium windows and doors, shopfronts and curtain walling, working with leading aluminium systems including Comar and Schüco.
Due to continued workload, they are looking to strengthen their manufacturing team and have an opportunity for an experienced Aluminium Window & Door Fabricator.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience fabricating aluminium windows and doors, with knowledge of Comar and Schüco aluminium systems particularly desirable.
The Role
Working within the fabrication department, you will be responsible for manufacturing aluminium window and door products accurately and to a high standard. Your duties will include:
- Fabricating and assembling aluminium windows, doors and associated products.
- Working with Comar and Schüco aluminium systems.
- Cutting, preparing, machining and assembling aluminium profiles.
- Fitting hardware and completing products ready for dispatch or installation.
- Working accurately from technical drawings, specifications and measurements.
- Checking dimensions and finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Using fabrication machinery, hand tools and power tools safely.
- Ensuring work is completed in line with production schedules.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience fabricating aluminium windows and doors.
- Good knowledge of aluminium profiles, hardware and fabrication methods.
- Experience with Comar and/or Schüco systems would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Excellent measuring skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using fabrication machinery and tools.
- A reliable and hardworking approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
