Public Relations Account Manager (Healthcare)

Porter Novelli is recruiting for a Corporate and B2B Account Manager to join our dynamic global communications company. The Corporate & Brand team boasts a roster of world-leading brands and B2B clients which will give you the opportunity to hone your organisational, storytelling and media skills. We’re looking for someone with a background in corporate communications and/or B2B tech who is looking to join a growing global team and really make their mark on several key accounts. The Account Manager is a pivotal role in the team driving results for our clients, whilst maintaining strong links with journalist contacts and acts as the day-to-day point of contact for some core clients. Guiding day-to-day account activities, activating client plans and working with the junior team to deliver exceptional results and coverage. Crafting and executing creative and compelling pitch angles, op-eds and thought leadership ideas with our junior team. Supporting on project or account briefs, working with senior C&B members and our creative, data and planning teams to deliver on our clients’ objectives in the most impactful way possible. Crisis and issues support, helping to draft statements, supporting with risk assessments and setting up monitoring. Supporting senior team members with video shoots, events and media training. Helping to brief spokespeople for interviews. Learning and using our proprietary Data Engine tech tools to enhance and deliver client work. Effectively managing and delegating to junior team members to deliver client service excellence. Leading client status calls and managing project timelines and status reports. Supporting with market management on our global accounts. Supporting with budgeting and scopes of work. At least one year’s experience in a corporate/B2B Account Manager role. Good working knowledge of corporate communications and B2B tech with a strong network of media contacts in this space. Curiosity and a desire to be on the front-foot of industry trends and the news agenda. Some experience working on a global account with exposure to managing local market teams Strong organisational skills and time management.
