We have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Litigator to join our growing Commercial Litigation team in Exeter. You will work alongside the Head of Commercial Litigation by providing support in a way that is conducive to enabling them to operate at optimum efficiency. We are able to offer you high quality work, expert support, mentoring and guidance with the opportunity to progress.
There will be a focus on commercial work, dealing with company, partnerships, director and shareholder disputes, corporate transactions, commercial contract disputes, international arbitration and some insolvency matters. There is an emphasis on drafting straightforward legal documents and proactively assisting clients with a view to building long standing relationships and taking on instructions directly.
Key Responsibilities- Advise and represent clients in commercial, corporate, and civil litigation matters.
- Draft and manage pleadings, witness statements, and legal submissions.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance to clients.
- Attend mediations, hearings, and trials as appropriate.
- Work closely with partners on high-profile and complex matters.
- Contribute to succession planning and growth initiatives, with clear opportunities for progression.
Working in our Commercial Litigation department, this role would best suit someone who is proactive and enthusiastic, with great interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
