Premier Staffing Solutions is actively seeking a talented Staff Accountant for a reputable CPA firm located in the vibrant southeastern North Carolina area. Role Overview:
As a Staff Accountant, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, contributing to various essential functions including:
– Preparing tax returns for individuals, businesses, fiduciaries, and nonprofit organizations
– Preparing accurate financial statements that reflect clients\’ financial positions
– Delivering insightful business advisory support to help clients achieve their goals
– Conducting research on tax laws and staying updated on regulations affecting clients
– Understanding and applying tax codes, regulations, rulings, and case law
– Providing tax and accounting support to CPA supervisors, in addition to other assigned responsibilities
Qualifications We\’re Looking For:
– A minimum of a BA/BS degree, ideally in accounting or a related field
– Either CPA qualification or currently pursuing CPA certification
– At least 2 years of experience in a public accounting environment
– Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles
– Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients
– Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and other relevant accounting software
Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers competitive pay ranging from $25.00 to $27.00 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, the benefits package includes:
– Comprehensive health insurance
– 401K matching contributions
– Paid time off upon full-time hire
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (not exceeding 40 hours per week)
Location: In-person, Southport, NC
