We’re looking for an intern! Join us at Portaul & help shake up sexual health. We’re Portaul, a bold new app making sexual health easy, stigma-free, and even a little fun. Think anonymous STI exposure alerts, secure status sharing, and smart reminders to test, so people can own their sexual health without the awkwardness. Our mission? Break old-school taboos and make it normal to say: “Yeah, I get tested. You should too.” What you’ll actually do For 8 weeks, you’ll get hands-on across marketing and operations, helping us grow from scrappy startup to the go-to sexual health app. You’ll : Create & schedule social content that gets people talking (and sharing) Dive into user research: run surveys, chat to real people, gather insights Keep our day-to-day ops flowing: help with launches, support user & partner comms Draft newsletters and blogs Help plan collabs About you Maybe you’re studying marketing, health, business, design or just obsessed with startups & learning new things. You’re: An effective communicator Organised & on it (your to-do lists have their own to-do lists) Social media savvy (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok? Easy.) Good at using Canva (or a similar design software) Not shy about talking sexual health (we literally built an app for it) Curious, creative, and up for wearing 100 hats The practical stuff 8-week internship* (12 hours/week, fully flexible) Remote, but ideally based in London for occasional meetups and team sessions Unpaid, for those looking to gain experience.
