As an Electronics Test Technician, you will support the Test Engineers in the department in the service and repair of production test equipment.
Key duties include;
- Support for equipment calibration and preventative maintenance activities.
- Performing electronic assembly of circuit boards and wiring harnesses.
- First line support for production test equipment breakdowns.
- Update test documentation in line with company processes.
- Develop test programs for cable assemblies.
About You
The ideal candidate will be qualified to HNC (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering and ideally have previous experience of maintaining test equipment within a manufacturing/production environment.
Other desirable attributes include;
- Knowledge and experience of electronic systems/pcbas/components.
- Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Ability to use standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies.
- Ideally have experience in debugging automated test equipment hardware
- Basic understanding of computer architecture and hardware.
- Through hole and surface mount soldering experience, ideally J-std trained
- Attention to detail, methodical approach
- Experience of Microsoft Office tools MS Word, Excel etc.
