We are seeking Technical Operations Associates to support our manufacturing operation. Based at our London site, this is a hands‑on, on‑site role working closely with the Manufacturing, Process & Equipment teams. You will be responsible for operating manufacturing processes while supporting process improvements, troubleshooting, and the development of more efficient ways of working. This is not a traditional operator role - you will play an active part in understanding how the process works and contributing to its ongoing optimisation.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing processes across: component handling, assembly, kitting and packaging
  • Follow and contribute to standard work and SOPs
  • Support manufacturing execution, data acquisition and line improvements
  • Identify and elevate process issues and deviations
  • Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Support equipment operation and basic maintenance activities
  • Contribute to process improvements and optimisation activities
  • Assist in the development and testing of new processes
  • Ensure accurate completion of manufacturing records
  • Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness, and control

Qualifications

  • Degree, HND, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline
  • Experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, or technical environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
  • Practical, hands‑on mindset with problem‑solving ability
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
  • Good communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments
  • Experience working with laboratory equipment or technical processes
  • Exposure to continuous improvement or process optimisation
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 13485)
  • Interest in continuous improvement and engineering systems
