We are seeking Technical Operations Associates to support our manufacturing operation. Based at our London site, this is a hands‑on, on‑site role working closely with the Manufacturing, Process & Equipment teams. You will be responsible for operating manufacturing processes while supporting process improvements, troubleshooting, and the development of more efficient ways of working. This is not a traditional operator role - you will play an active part in understanding how the process works and contributing to its ongoing optimisation.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing processes across: component handling, assembly, kitting and packaging
- Follow and contribute to standard work and SOPs
- Support manufacturing execution, data acquisition and line improvements
- Identify and elevate process issues and deviations
- Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Support equipment operation and basic maintenance activities
- Contribute to process improvements and optimisation activities
- Assist in the development and testing of new processes
- Ensure accurate completion of manufacturing records
- Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness, and control
Qualifications
- Degree, HND, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline
- Experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, or technical environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Practical, hands‑on mindset with problem‑solving ability
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
- Good communication skills
Desirable
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments
- Experience working with laboratory equipment or technical processes
- Exposure to continuous improvement or process optimisation
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 13485)
- Interest in continuous improvement and engineering systems
