We are looking for a driven, field-based National Site Manager to join our successful team at Portakabin mainly covering the Southern Regions. There will still be national travel on occasions.
You will be an experienced Site Manager who thrives being on the road, daily, going to the different site locations in the southern regions. You will have had an extensive and exciting career journey as a site manager, travelling nationally. Looking for candidates living in the southern regions.
Salary: Up to £55,000 Depending on Experience
Annual Bonus - 10% - Dependant on company performance
Company Car
Location: Travelling Monday - Friday - Mainly covering the Southern Regions but also nationally when required
Full UK driving license Required
Eligible for Private Medical Scheme
Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days.
To be successful in this role you will have a wealth of proven experience as a site manager consistently achieving project goals. Extensive experience managing a variety of construction operations. You will ensure successful management of the designated site activities to ensure programme, cost, quality and safety objectives are achieved.
In this role you will be required to:
- Support the pre-construction team in developing site logistics and site access strategies
- Plan, organise and maintain appropriate site welfare requirements & site logistics
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management completing all necessary health & safety activities and implementing Safe Systems of Work
- Manage the site ensuring the work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality by effectively organising and managing the site activities.
- Manage the client expectations and adopt a professional and considerate approach to maintain good working relations.
- Lead and motivate the site team and the supply chain to deliver the project and ensure roles and responsibilities are clear.
In-depth knowledge of health & safety procedures & requirements
Essential Requirements:
- A proven track record of successful delivery of projects.
- A proven track record working as Principal Contractor.
- A proven track record of consistently achieving project goals.
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing a variety of construction operations.
- Takes responsibility for actions, projects and people.
- Strong Commercial awareness.
- Ability to add value and drive business improvements.
- Confident decision making and influencing skills.
- Exceptional organisation and planning skills.
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
- Full UK driving license.
You will be traveling all over the nation Monday to Friday.
