Area Hire Manager – 8 Months FTC – Highbridge Role: Area Hire Manager – 8 Months FTC Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 Pro Rata + Company Car Highbridge Office Location – Travelling/Covering- West Wiltshire, Somerset, East- Mid- and North-Devon We\\\\\\\’re looking for an ambitious, driven, Area Hire Manager to join the team at Portakabin based in Highbridge, covering East, Mid and North Devon Region on an 8 months basis. The role of Area Hire Manager is a hands on, commercial and results driven sales manager who has a passion for business development, understanding clients\\\\\\\’ needs and achieving orders, whilst delivering excellent customer service and clearly demonstrates our Company values. You will develop and promote the Company\\\\\\\’s hire business, to include our full range of products and services, ensuring the Division\\\\\\\’s sales process is followed. Working alongside projects and service teams in the region, and the Building and Construction Services functions, the role holder will be a strong communicator with a teamwork ethic. Whilst this role will be based in the office at Highbridge when you are not travelling or on client visits there is flexibility to work from home if a client site is closer to home. You will thrive off being on the road, going to meet customers and will have had an extensive and exciting career journey with field sales. As an Area Hire Manager, you will: *Be accountable for the delivery set targets for the year for a particular catchment area including contract value, order numbers, and visits as well as other commercial KPIs. *Carry out structured business development, local and national campaigns, including \\\\\\\”cold calling\\\\\\\” within the area designated, in order to achieve order targets. *Maximise added value for every opportunity through promoting the full range of Building Services. *Complete customer care programme to ensure maximum satisfaction, continuity of business and maximise referral opportunities. *Ensuring compliance to business and quality processes for own catchment area, including ISO 9001. *SAP, CRM) to ensure customer information is kept up to date and systems are aligned. *As directed liaise with Service Manager with regard to refurbishment, fitting out, deliveries, rectifications and terminations. *Essential Experience as a Area Hire Manager: *Proven commercial experience, including face to face sales experience and business development. *Strong experience of carrying out business development activities (campaign calling and cold calling). *Strong Client and account management experience. *Strong B2B sales experience. *Solid understanding of various software packages including MS Excel and PowerPoint. *GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above, education to A Level standard is desirable. *Full UK Driving licence 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays – Pro Rata * *Monthly commission with additional quarterly bonus Company Car *Contributory pension Portakabin employs more than 2,000 people across ten European countries with our head office and primary manufacturing facility located in York UK.
