As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will process all invoices and payments accurately and in line with agreed terms and timescales.
- Role Details
- Annual on target bonus of 2.5%
- Role based: Warrington, WA4 4RE, with an initial training period and regular travel to our head office in York
- Contract type: Permanent
- Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
Responsibilities
- Following procedures, process payments and invoices within agreed timescales.
- Apply knowledge of the business to plan and prioritise workload to meet agreed timescales for internal teams and external suppliers.
- Work with the wider finance team to provide excellent support and service to the rest of the business.
- Liaise with wider teams and colleagues to understand requirements and resolve any issues swiftly.
- Be a key point of contact for wider teams to address any queries or concerns.

Our Ideal Candidate
- Knowledge of administrative processes & procedures within a finance environment.
- Purchase ledger / accounts payable experience.
- Competent in using Microsoft packages including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Minimum GCSE or equivalent including Maths and English.
- SAP experience is desirable.
