We have an exciting new opportunity for a Production Administrator. You’re a calm and methodical problem-solver who would relish the opportunity to join a welcoming production team in York. With a background in administration, you’ll be confident working both independently and collaborating with others across the Portakabin business.
As a Production Administrator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing data is processed in an accurate and timely manner, in line with company procedures and timescales. You’ll be IT literate and confident in collating and analysing data, generating reports, and producing presentations as and when required. You’ll play a fundamental role in new starter inductions, SAP transactions, booking materials, and labour, and participating in productivity, lean, and value exercises.
As Production Administrator you will:
- Ensure that the process of entering job sheets onto both our internal ERP system (SAP) and spreadsheets is carried out efficiently and promptly.
- Maintain yard maps in line with daily movement.
- Manage agency ordering, confirm numbers, and oversee new starter inductions.
- Administer standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Handle SAP transactions related to the Dispatch Process.
- Print drawings ahead of production requirements.
