We are looking for a driven, field-based Site Manager to join our successful team at Portakabin. You will be an experienced Site Manager who thrives being on the road, visiting different site locations, with extensive experience in site management and national travel.
Role Responsibilities
- Support the pre-construction team in developing site logistics and site access strategies
- Plan, organise and maintain appropriate site welfare requirements & site logistics
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management; complete required health & safety activities and implement Safe Systems of Work
- Manage the site to ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality by organising and managing site activities
- Manage client expectations and maintain good working relations with a professional and considerate approach
- Lead and motivate the site team and the supply chain to deliver the project; ensure roles and responsibilities are clear
- Show in-depth knowledge of health & safety procedures & requirements

- A proven track record of successful delivery of projects
- A proven track record working as Principal Contractor
- A proven track record of consistently achieving project goals
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a variety of construction operations
- Takes responsibility for actions, projects and people
- Strong commercial awareness
- Ability to add value and drive business improvements
- Confident decision making and influencing skills
- Exceptional organisation and planning skills
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally
- Full UK driving license; traveling nationally Monday to Friday
