HSE Advisor Hamilton - Scotland (must live locally) - Huntington

As a Health and Safety Advisor, your role and remit will be to ensure day-to-day HSE compliance by managing accident, incident, near miss and dont walk by investigations and mitigation.
Role Details:
Annual salary up to 42,000 dependent on skills and experience.
Potential annual-on-target bonus of up to 5% subject to business performance
Role based: Scotland Hamilton Must live local to office
Contract type: Permanent

Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
In this role you will be required to:
Lead accident/incident and near miss investigations, ensuring corrective actions are concluded and follow up closure of all issues.
Support safe operational procedures which identify and take into account all relevant hazards.
Communicate and reinforce HSE processes and procedures.
Develop and engage sound relationships with internal and external customers.
Carry out site audits to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced.
Ensure that all necessary documentation and information on all matters of HSE is provided in a timely and complete manner.
Our Ideal Candidate
NEBOSH General Certificate.
Knowledge of HSE regulations, processes and procedures.
Competent in using Microsoft packages including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Able to analyse and present data.
Skills: Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Communication, Analytical Skills, Problem Solving, Inspection & Auditing, Reporting.
