As a Health and Safety Advisor, your role and remit will be to ensure day-to-day HSE compliance by managing accident, incident, near miss and 'don't walk by' investigations and mitigation.
Role Details:
- Annual salary of up to 40,000, plus potential annual-on-target bonus of up to 5% subject to business performance
- Role based: Can be based at any of our Midland offices in either Birmingham B66 1AT, Peterborough PE4 5ET or Nottingham NG9 6DP. With travel around the Midlands region.
- Contract type: Permanent

- Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead accident/incident and near miss investigations, ensuring corrective actions are concluded and follow up closure of all issues.
- Support safe operational procedures which identify and take into account all relevant hazards.
- Communicate and reinforce HSE processes and procedures.
- Develop and engage sound relationships with internal and external customers.
- Carry out site audits to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
- Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation and information on all matters of HSE is provided in a timely and complete manner.

Our Ideal Candidate:
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations, processes and procedures.
- Competent in using Microsoft packages including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
