As a Service Supervisor, your role and remit will be to supervise and support operatives in the delivery of day-to-day site and yard activities, plan and allocate work to ensure safe practices, efficient operations and adherence to quality, cost and delivery commitments.
Role Details:- Annual salary up to 38,000
- Role based: Uphall Industrial Estate, Broxburn, EH52 5NT
- Contract type: Permanent
- Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
In this role you will be required to:
- Plan and allocate day-to-day work to operatives ensuring safe practices, efficient operations and cost-effective use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental and quality standards, including adherence to refurbishment times and guides.
- Promote health, safety and environmental standards, engaging operatives in safe working practices and company initiatives.
- Supervise operatives on site and in the yard, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of performance.
- Escalate operational challenges or resource issues to the Service Manager or relevant stakeholders, providing clear information to aid resolution.
- Seek approval for changes to standard operating procedures and ensure instructions are followed consistently.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and supporting the adoption of best practice.
