An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Operative to join the Portakabin Ireland Building Services Team based in Donabate . We\βre looking for someone with hands-on operational experience in construction who can support our busy team in delivering high-quality installations of access systems and furniture as per project needs.
This is a hands-on and physically active role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in dynamic site environments, adaptable to changing project needs, and available to travel to various locations across the country when required. A full driving licence is desirable.
Role Responsibilities:
*Installation of access equipment and furniture according to project requirements
*Loading, off-loading, and moving assets
*Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard, stores and work environment
*Supporting the wider Operations Team across the full lifecycle of project delivery
*Maintaining high health and safety standards, cleaning standards and quality standards.
*Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company Procedures/Policies relating to Health and Safety, inclusive of COSHH
Essential Criteria for this role you will have:
*** Operational experience in construction*** *
*Practical operational experience potentially within a construction environment
*Experience with access installations, slinger/signaller duties, or similar manual handling tasks
*Willingness to travel across Ireland as required by project locations
*Comfortable working in a hands-on and physically active role, both indoors and outdoors.
