We are looking for a Business Development Coordinator to join our successful team based at Stockton on Tees office part time.
As our next Business Development Coordinator your remit will be to generate sales opportunities and deliver exceptional customer service to both external and internal customers by efficiently managing outbound and inbound telephone calls, as well as website live chat interactions.
Role Details:
- Annual Salary - £25,360k Pro Rota
- Role based: Portrack Lane, Stockton on Tees, TS18 2PA
- Contract type: Permanent – Part time (16.5 hours) over Wednesday – Friday - Office Based Role
- Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days – Pro Rota
In this role you will be required to:
- Carry out targeted calling campaigns and contacting prospective customers as part of a structured business development approach to calls, using a blend of resources
- Qualify leads and potential sales opportunities
- Liaise with Marketing teams on campaigns and with Digital teams regarding website generated leads
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in relevant systems
- Deliver key messages consistently using calling handling briefs and techniques
- Respond to customer service enquiries promptly and professionally
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the business to support commercial objectives
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Experience carrying out business development activities (targeted business development calls)
- Strong experience in a customer service environment and Relationship Building
- Sales Experience (office based experienced)
- Strong IT skills allowing you to effectively use internal systems, ensuring customer information is kept up to date and systems are aligned
- Experience using a CRM system
- A Full UK Driving Licence is desirable
- Good verbal communication and listening skills
- Ability to build rapport quickly
