We're looking for an experienced Business Manager to drive sales and order winning activities across key account or large modular opportunities by actively promoting products and services. This is a national role requiring regular travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.

Your remit will be to build and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve commercial targets and support business growth and ensure commercial processes and pricing policies are consistently followed.

Role Details:

  • Annual Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
  • Commission: Competitive Commission Package
  • Based from home - Travelling Nationally
  • Permanent
  • Eligible for Private Medical Scheme
  • Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
  • FULL UK Driving Licence

In this role you will be required to:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for large modular building projects across the UK. You will be directly accountable for opportunity generation, developing and owning key account relationships and winning new work.
  • Apply a comprehensive knowledge of the product portfolio, compliance, commercial processes and pricing policies to effectively convert sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of large modular work for GB Sales.
  • Undertake key account management activity with large or repeat clients and cross business unit integration in line with the company wide strategy. This will include identifying and targeting opportunities for new business and mapping your individual key accounts, detailing structure and decision-making personnel.
  • Collaborate with wider teams to deliver excellent customer service and product quality from order win through the entire customer journey, ensuring a seamless and high-quality customer experience.
  • Maintain strong internal relationships and deliver outstanding customer service. In particular, you will work closely with the large modular bid, pre-construction and estimating team and will be directly accountable for driving the win strategy and shaping a bid, ahead of taking the scheme to market.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Background in B2B sales with a track record of delivering results.
  • Experience ensuring commercial targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Experienced in selling and a confident negotiator with good influencing skills.
  • Strong experience growing a customer account base from planning and executing new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated the ability to manage a wide customer account base effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Commercially aware, keeping up-to-date with competitor activities and market trends.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint and using CRM systems.
  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent), including maths and English.
