As an Application Support Analyst you will investigate, resolve and report problems with technology systems and processes.

Role Details :

  • Annual salary up to £28, – £32, dependent on skills and experience. Plus an annual on target bonus of 5%
  • Role based : York (office based for 3 months, moving to a hybrid role after training has been completed)
  • Contract type : Permanent
  • Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.

In this role you will be required to :

  • Deliver service excellence by responding promptly to user requests and enquiries.
  • Monitor and resolve tickets submitted through the incident management system, escalating where appropriate.
  • Liaise with IT teams and stakeholders to collate, record, analyse and promptly report relevant information.
  • Conduct audits and investigations into system or process issues, recommending corrective actions.
  • Produce and maintain accurate, clear and up-to-date system documentation for applications and infrastructure.
  • Respond promptly to requests and enquiries, resolve issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support the evaluation, testing and introduction of new processes, applications and system changes.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Educated to GCSE and / or A level, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to fault-find and provide resolutions to issues.
  • Ability to produce and maintain clear, accurate documentation.
  • Knowledge and some experience of incident management processes and tools.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communicator, able to work effectively with cross functional stakeholders.
