Responsibilities
- Support the pre‑construction team in developing site logistics and site access strategies.
- Plan, organise and maintain appropriate site welfare requirements and site logistics.
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management, completing all necessary health and safety activities and implementing Safe Systems of Work.
- Manage the site ensuring the work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality by effectively organising and managing the site activities.
- Manage client expectations and adopt a professional and considerate approach to maintain good working relations.
- Lead and motivate the site team and the supply chain to deliver the project and ensure roles and responsibilities are clear.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety procedures and requirements.
- Extensive proven experience as a site manager, consistently achieving project goals.
- Experience managing a variety of construction operations – minimum 5 years.
- Successful track record as Principal Contractor.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to add value and drive business improvements.
- Confident decision‑making and influencing skills.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
- Full UK driving licence – traveling all over the nation Monday to Friday.
