Job Title: Skilled Site Operative – National Role
Salary & Rates: £16.56 basic hourly rate, Scaled Merit Rate with additional “Plus” rates for senior duties, Overtime rates: time and a half / double time (depending on hours/days worked)
Location: Sites across the UK (minimum 5 days per week away from home, with some weekend working)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
We are looking for a Skilled Site Operative, ideally with joinery or carpentry experience, to join our Site Services Installations Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing and fitting out modular buildings to a high specification, working across a variety of client sites nationwide. The position involves extensive travel and working away from home – please only apply if you are able to be away for up to 2 weeks at a time and enjoy being on the road.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, fit out and maintain modules to agreed specifications
- Assist with cranage operations and other trade activities on site
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Report and help to prevent Health & Safety incidents
- Comply with legislation, company procedures and product specifications
- Promote a positive Health & Safety culture (Zero Harm focus)
- Complete progress reports and site inspections when required
- Support training and monitoring of subcontractors
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Apprentice-trained, NVQ Level 2+ or equivalent trade background (preferably Joinery/Carpentry)
- Minimum 3 years’ trade background with proven site installation experience
- Valid CSCS Competence Card
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work at height
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Desirable
- IPAF (MEWPs)
- PASMA (Towers)
- Roof Safety and Rescue training/experience
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- CPCS Slinger/Signaller
