Role – Multi Skilled Operative – Purfleet

Hourly rate: £16.23 per hour (including London Weighting) + Overtime

Opportunity to earn additional hourly rate between £0.25 – £4.38 based on skill set and behaviours.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our successful team at Portakabin Site in Purfleet.

In this role, you will refurbish and fit out our buildings to high standards, carrying out rectifications and supporting the installation and dismantling of buildings alongside our hauliers.

Role Responsibilities

1. Undertake preparation and decoration of all surfaces, internal and external.
2. Perform basic joinery tasks including partition walls, doors, and windows.
3. Carry out basic plumbing tasks such as sink and toilet installation, waste and drainage work, and push-fit fittings.
4. Support in preparation and first fix on site.
5. Assist in fitting out and refurbishing buildings on and off-site.
6. Ensure health and safety policies are followed, report hazards and near misses.
7. Provide customer-focused and efficient service as part of the team.

Essential Skills Required

• Operational experience in joinery, plumbing, painting, decorating, and electrics.
• Ability to build good relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Enthusiasm for demanding goals.
• Good organisation and planning skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Customer focus and decision-making skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
