Job Summary We are looking for a Decorative Painter to join our Workshop team on a full time, permanent basis. If you are creative and wish to work in an artistic environment then we would like to hear from you. What you'll do - You will assist with the completion of the workshop production schedule producing decorative (such as painting & gold leafing) and other technical finishes on our products, ensuring the quality and integrity of the brand is maintained. - You will assist with the daily housekeeping of the workshop ensuring a safe and enjoyable working environment. - Assist with mixing of varnishes and paints when required. - Paint spraying. - Within work hours, you will be proactive in your development; learning and perfecting new skills and finishes and will assist with training of team members when requested. What you'll need - A creative flare or a passion for art and design. - Consistency and attention to detail and ability to learn new finishes, techniques, and skills. - Ability to multitask and be flexible within reason. - Work well in a team. - Must be able to meet reasonable deadlines. - Ensuring the environmental policies of the business are adhered to, providing ideas on how to reduce waste. - We are based on the edge of the Surrey Hills in a beautiful rural location surrounded by wildlife, therefore it is essential that you are able to drive and have access to a vehicle. - A-level Art or equivalent desirable
