We are looking for an editorially strong Content Editor & Multimedia Writer to create engaging content across our publications, websites, newsletters, social media channels, events, webinars and podcasts.
This is a writing-led role.
The successful candidate will be confident researching topics, conducting interviews, developing editorial angles and producing publication-quality content for professional audiences.
Whilst the role includes multimedia content and digital channels, we are not seeking a purely video editing, technical production or back-end content specialist.
We are looking for a strong writer and editor who can create compelling content and adapt it across multiple platforms.
The Role
You will work across a portfolio of established brands, creating content that informs, engages and supports audience growth, event participation and commercial objectives.
Working closely with editorial, marketing and commercial colleagues, you will identify stories, interview industry professionals and develop content that reaches audiences through a range of channels and formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, write and edit high-quality content for websites, newsletters, publications and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct interviews with industry professionals, speakers, exhibitors and customers, both remotely and at events.
- Develop engaging editorial content including articles, features, opinion pieces, Q&As, case studies and event coverage.
- Create content plans and editorial calendars supporting audience engagement and business objectives.
- Adapt editorial content for social media, webinars, podcasts, email campaigns and other digital channels.
- Support event promotion through pre-event features, speaker interviews, exhibitor spotlights and post-event reporting.
- Collaborate with editorial, marketing and commercial teams to ensure content aligns with business priorities.
- Monitor audience engagement and content performance to continuously improve content effectiveness.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, grammar, style and editorial quality across all content produced.
- Proven experience in an editorial, journalism, content editor, copywriting or publications-focused role.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Experience creating content for publications, websites, newsletters and digital platforms.
- Confidence interviewing subject matter experts and turning conversations into engaging content.
- Ability to identify compelling stories and develop audience-focused editorial content.
- Experience planning and managing content across multiple channels.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- B2B publishing, trade media or events experience.
- Experience supporting webinars, podcasts or video interviews.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms, CMS systems and content performance analytics.
- Experience within maritime, logistics, transport or industrial sectors.
