Location: Port of Tilbury

Hours: 4 on / 4 off rotation shifts including weekend 7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am

Compensation: £32,639 + Shift Allowance £2,623

Key Responsibilities
  • Unloading, storing, picking and loading palletised soft drinks 24/7 for retail warehouse distribution centres
  • Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Manager or Supervisors
  • Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
  • Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
  • Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
  • Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, which typically involves using a hand-held scanner
Qualifications & Skills
  • At least 1 year Fork Lift truck experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role (VNA retail warehouse distribution centre)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Maintain exceptional health and safety standards
  • Full Driving Licence, valid in the UK
  • Full right to work in the UK
