About The Role

What You Will Learn

Our Engineering Apprentice (CPE) will be based at Central Plant Engineering which is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and managing the extensive machinery, vehicles, and infrastructure at the port. The first year will be spent at college, where they will develop a solid understanding of the fundamentals of engineering, safety, and maintenance practices. During college holidays, the apprentice will work in our port workshop with experienced engineers, gaining hands‑on experience while completing their vocational qualifications in the workplace and supporting the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of critical assets in a live operational environment.
