As a Mechanical Technician, you will carry out all aspects of improvement, maintenance, and repair works to the Board's assets. Your broad technical knowledge will enable you to work on a diverse array of engineering plant, equipment, and installations. Your responsibilities will include performing maintenance and repairs on essential equipment, such as Linkspans, HGVs, RORO Tugs, Cranes, Hydraulic systems, vehicles, and small floating craft. You will excel in this role by applying your skills with minimal supervision, upholding the highest quality in all tasks.
Hours of Work: Full-time
Mechanical Technician Requirements:
- Apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline to a minimum NVQ level 3 standard and associated C&G's or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years post trade-qualification experience in a relevant discipline.
- Hydraulic, heavy machinery, plant, and/or vehicle experience.
- Proven ability in reviewing and creating RAMS.
- Strong mechanical assessment and fault diagnosis skills.
