As a Civil Engineer, you will engage in an exciting array of civil engineering and structural assets. From bridges and roadways to marine infrastructure like piers and breakwaters, your role will involve acting as an internal consultant to the Engineering department and the wider business. You will review designs and specifications, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and best practices. Your expertise will guide the programme of condition inspections, reporting findings and devising maintenance and repair plans that align with the Port’s sustainability agenda. With your eagerness to explore emerging design methodologies and technologies, you will drive efficiency and innovation, preparing designs, specifications, and work packages for various construction projects.

Civil Engineer Requirements
- BEng/MEng in a relevant Engineering discipline with a minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience, preferably from a design consultancy background.
- Familiarity with current design codes and an understanding of CDM Regulations.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in AutoCad or willing to learn.
