We are looking to employ an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team at the Port of Blyth. We have an array of cargo handling plant that includes FLT, Cranes & Heavy Plant that require regular servicing and repair. Therefore, previous experience of working with these types of equipment would be an advantage.
Due to the nature of our business, you will need to be flexible with a can-do attitude. You will also be required to assist with the loading/unloading of cargos. Therefore, the successful candidates will be required to learn all aspects of Stevedoring including operating plant & equipment where required.
This is predominantly a day shift position; however, you will be required to work shifts and weekends when necessary. Overtime will also be required to cover the needs of the business. Our business is located across four sites, so a full driving licence is essential.
