The Howletts Wild Animal Trust, which oversees Howletts Wild Animal Park and Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, are looking for a Content Creator to join our Marketing Team.

As the Content Creator at Port Lympne & Howletts, you will have the opportunity to create impactful video and visual content at two of Kent’s best-loved wildlife parks, which are home to hundreds of rare and endangered animals, 14 different ways to stay the night, incredible on-site restaurants and award-winning wedding and event spaces. You will produce a range of content, from light-hearted videos which introduce our animals and their keepers to our large social media audience to dramatic video tours of our striking accommodation and wedding & event spaces.

You’ll lead on content production across platforms – including YouTube and TikTok. Working closely with teams across the parks, you\’ll proactively seek out unique content opportunities, script and produce compelling video content, and manage a growing visual library. From editing versatile assets to supporting external shoots, you\’ll ensure all content is accessible, high quality, and tailored for diverse audiences across digital and offline channels. Your insights will feed into the wider marketing strategy, using performance metrics to guide future content direction. If you’re passionate about storytelling, love wildlife, and thrive in fast-paced creative environments, this is your chance to make a real impact – and inspire new audiences every day.

Who Are We Looking For

We’re looking for a creative, organised, and self-motivated Content Creator with at least one year of experience in a professional content production role – ideally within a visitor attraction or similar environment. You’ll be confident using Adobe Creative Cloud (including InDesign and Photoshop), and skilled with a variety of cameras, video, and audio equipment. A solid understanding of video and sound editing is essential, and drone qualifications would be a bonus. You’ll need strong knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and the ability to manage projects from concept to delivery with precision and creativity. Attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment are key. If you’re a natural storyteller with a proactive mindset and a passion for creating scroll-stopping content, we’d love to hear from you
