We are looking for a new salaried GP to replace our retiring doctor in the new year and to join our team at Port Isaac Practice on the North Cornwall Coast. We operate out of Port Isaac Surgery with sea views from the clinical rooms, and Bridge Medical Centre on the riverside in Wadebridge. We are a friendly rural dispensing practice with a commitment to a balanced workload and full digital triage, ensuring less than 25 patient contacts on a routine day.

Main duties of the job:

  • GPs work six sessions per week with a manageable workload.
  • The practice hosts many PCN staff in our riverside building in Wadebridge.
  • We run a weekly multidisciplinary team meeting and are involved in primary care research with a full‑time research nurse, offering opportunities for GPs to engage with NHS and commercial studies.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive general practice care with efficient use of digital triage, attend on‑ward cycles, routine clinics, and support multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Facilitate training for GP registrars, Foundation Year 2 doctors and visiting medical students.
