Why We're Looking for You
As we continue our rapid growth, we are looking for an Account Executive to own a segment of Port's midâmarket territories, craft your own pipeline, and partner with Sales Engineers to secure deals ranging from five to seven figures.
What You'll Do
- Identify and nurture leads, converting them into highâimpact opportunities.
- Build and strengthen relationships with buyers, simplifying the deal process.
- Lead negotiations and procurement activities to close deals.
- Update CRM with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data.
- Create and implement plans to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Engage with technical stakeholders to uncover opportunities for Port.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers, executive team, and major accounts.
- Work with Engineering to champion innovative features, underscoring Port's value proposition.
Who You'll Work With
You'll collaborate closely with Sales Engineers, fellow Account Executives, the SDR team, marketing and engineering departments, and senior leadership such as VP of Sales, CEO, and CTO.
Requirements
- Proven experience achieving quotas, with a benchmark of $1M+ of ARR annually.
- Consistent drive in activity, robust pipeline development, and quota accomplishments.
- ~5 years of sales experience, especially in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, databases, or business intelligence.
- Solutionâoriented sales approach, adept at managing multifaceted processes.
- Excellent presentation and listening skills; strong organization and contact management.
- Proactive technical fluency, confident steering technical conversations at all tiers.
