As a Sales Enablement Specialist, you will play a meaningful role in helping Port scale efficiently. You won’t just be managing resources; you will be the bridge between our high-level sales strategy and field execution. At Port, the sales process is deeply technical and fast-moving. You will ensure our reps are equipped with the training, technical narratives, and streamlined processes they need to win in a competitive, AI-driven market.
About Your Day-to-Day:
- Drive the implementation of the enablement roadmap, ensuring that tactical goals align with the broader sales objectives.
- Facilitate onboarding for new hires and coordinate ongoing workshops to keep reps current on product updates and sales techniques.
- Update and organize sales resources (pitch decks, battle cards, scripts) to ensure the team has high-quality, up-to-date materials.
- Help identify bottlenecks in the sales workflow and assist in implementing MEDDPICC to help reps qualify deals better and work more efficiently.
- Manage tools and technologies that enhance sales productivity, such as CRM systems, content management platforms, and learning management systems.
- Monitor sales metrics to identify strengths and gaps, providing actionable reports to sales leadership.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product to ensure reps receive consistent messaging, training, and resources.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or a supporting sales role.
- Ability to execute training programs and create functional sales collateral.
- Solid understanding of standard sales methodologies (Command of Message, MEDDPIC preferred) and the typical B2B sales cycle.
- Hands-on experience using and navigating sales tech stacks (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or Seismic).
- Clear communication skills with a focus on making complex information easy for sales reps to digest.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to take direction and run with specific projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
