The 17th century Port Gaverne Hotel is nestled in a beautiful, secluded cove near Port Isaac on North Cornwall's dramatic coast. Relax in our traditional old bar with slate floors, wooden beams and a wide range of proper ales served alongside seasonal, quality food inspired by the bounty on our doorstep. The Port Gaverne has 15 ensuite rooms, each individually furnished. Please note, our rooms are situated on two floors of the building and because the building is very old, we do not have access to an elevator. All rooms are accessible via a narrow, steep staircase with low ceilings, keeping the natural beauty of the place intact. The beautiful, peaceful North Cornwall Heritage Coast is on our doorstep, with the beach just moments away.

Part time opportunity! Are you an enthusiastic Commis chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, cooking with locally sourced produce to provide quality food that delights our guests. As a commis chef you will be assisting in the preparation of food, working as part of the team ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met.
