At Porsche Retail Group, the Assistant Retail Business Analyst plays a key role in turning performance data into meaningful insight across our retail network.

Responsibilities

  • Support insight generation across sales, aftersales, and financial & internal performance.
  • Track core metrics such as sales units, gross profit, stock levels, and conversion rates.
  • Produce dashboards, reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Highlight emerging patterns, risks and opportunities in business data.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and managers to understand performance drivers.
  • Assist with inventory reviews, ageing analysis and stock optimisation.
  • Support evaluation of enquiry flows, conversions and customer behaviour.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and target‑tracking activities.
  • Maintain accuracy across systems, reports and data flows.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, updates, testing, documentation and ad‑hoc analysis.

Qualifications

Required

  • University degree in business, finance, analytics or a related field; or currently studying toward ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Minimum 2years of experience in a finance role.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance data.
  • Excel proficiency including formulas, pivot tables and basic data manipulation.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy when handling reports, KPIs and system updates.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain findings clearly.
  • Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and contribute in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Interest in data analysis and commercial performance.

Desirable

  • Exposure to PowerBI or basic coding knowledge (SQL/Python).
  • Dashboard or reporting experience.
  • Understanding of KPIs across sales, aftersales and customer operations.
  • Automotive retail interest or experience with premium brands.
  • Basic system support skills (troubleshooting, user access, master data updates).
  • Forecasting/funding familiarity.
  • Data integrity awareness or system testing experience.

Benefits

  • Basic salary of £35,000.
  • 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30.
