Job Description
As Porsche Retail Group's Facilities Project Manager, you will be primarily responsible for development/re-development projects of our facilities in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
You will have the enthusiasm, drive and initiative to deliver an end-to-end solution, using your skills and knowledge, as well as the expertise of our company appointed architects and quantity surveyors to progress projects through the RIBA Plan of Work stages, including developing concepts, cost estimates, supplier selection, tender preparation and evaluation, project planning, delivery and evaluation of success.
You will work closely with your immediate retail colleagues as well as with our shared service colleagues in Procurement, Legal and Facilities.
Responsibilities:
- To develop project plans in accordance with manufacturer requirement in both terms of cost and timings (Pre-Construction Services)
- Working with the Senior Management board of Porsche Retail Group maintain the Groups 10 year strategic and operational plan from a facility perspective.
- Work with the various teams involved in the projects (including the Procurement team and Porsche specialist facility advisors such as Architects/Surveyors/Building contractors and shared service provider etc.) to ensure plans and costs are monitored and followed, advising the board regularly on progress, savings, overspends and variations.
- Work PCGB's facility manager to ensure our facilities comply with Porsche AG's and PCGB's sustainability requirements, ensuring targets are achieved and Porsche's environmental objectives are achieved.
- Deliver a consistently high level of Service to support the business.
- Own the relationship between Porsche Retail Group and its contractors.
Requirements
Minimum Attributes:
- Commercial abilities: budget management and forecasting; supplier management; tender preparation and evaluation skills; business case creation and delivery
- Experience working in a property and construction project management environment - either for a consultancy firm or within a client team
- Environmental knowledge and experience relevant to construction/development projects
- Exposure to managing the end-to-end process of a build/re-development project
Preferred Attributes:
- Formal health, safety and environmental qualifications
- Be comfortable to negotiate and challenge constructively
- Retail Industry background highly desirable
