Porsche Centre Preston has an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to work for one of the world’s most iconic brands, based at their award-winning site on the Docklands. The state of the art Centre incorporates a 35 car Showroom, 13 bay Workshop, EV Battery Repair Hub, Preparation Centre, two customer handover bays and two direct dialogue bays. You’ll be working in a state-of-the-art Workshop, earning a competitive salary with generous benefits and with funded training/development.

The Role: Applicants will have the ability to work within given timescales and be able to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing, together with:

  • Perform all work assigned in a timely and economical manner, and to Company and Manufacturer standards
  • Advise the Workshop Controller if additional work is required on a vehicle and seek their assistance and authority in the rectification of faults
  • Maintain a high level of competency by undergoing on-site training, attending courses and reading technical bulletins as required
  • Assist customers with any questions or concerns regarding their vehicle

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, and Saturday 9.00am to 12.30pm on a rota basis.

Skills & Experience: Applicants must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent), together with:
