Porsche Centre Preston has an exciting opportunity for an MOT Technician to work for one of the world’s most iconic brands, based at their award-winning site on the Docklands. The state of the art Centre incorporates a 35 car Showroom, 13 bay Workshop, EV Battery Repair Hub, Preparation Centre, two customer handover bays and two direct dialogue bays. You’ll be working in a state‑of‑the‑art Workshop, earning a competitive salary with generous benefits and with funded training/development.

The Role:

  • Carry out MOT Testing efficiently and effectively in line with DVSA standards.
  • Advising customers on the outcome of their tests, and any remedial work that may be required.
  • Delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with DVSA / VOSA and Company procedures.
  • To employ such knowledge and skills as may be required to test vehicles and diagnose faults.
  • Supporting the team and assisting with servicing, repairs, and vehicle maintenance.
  • To report current and possible future vehicle faults and servicing requirements noticed whilst working on vehicles.
  • Maintain knowledge of developments through DVSA portals.
  • Following all Health & Safety regulations.

  • An effective communicator.
  • A current valid MOT Licence.
  • Full UK driving licence.
