Porsche Centre Bolton has an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to work for one of the world’s most iconic brands, based at their award-winning site in Bolton. The state of the art Centre features the very latest Porsche retail standards and design, incorporating a 35 car showroom, 12 bay workshop, customer handover bay, two direct dialogue bays and electric vehicle (EV) charging points. You’ll be earning a competitive salary with generous benefits and funded training/development.
The Role:
- Applicants will have the ability to work within given timescales and be able to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing, together with:
- Perform all work assigned in a timely and economical manner, and to Company and Manufacturer standards
- Advise the Workshop Controller if additional work is required on a vehicle and seek their assistance and authority in the rectification of faults
- Maintain a high level of competency by undergoing on-site training, attending courses and reading technical bulletins as required
- Assist customers with any questions or concerns regarding their vehicle
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, and 1 in 5 Saturdays, 8.30am to 12.30pm, on a rota basis.
Skills & Experience:
- Applicants must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent), together with:
- Exceptional communication skills
- Aptitude for multi-tasking
- Strong teamwork skills
- An eye for detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Quality awareness
- Full UK driving licence
