As the Reporting, Accounting and Business Analysis Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in steering financial clarity and commercial performance across Porsche Cars Great Britain (PCGB) and the wider Porsche Group. You will bring together actuals, budgets and forecasts with precision, deliver high-impact analysis that spotlights opportunities and risks, and ensure our financial planning is robust, accurate and future-focused. You’ll also partner with Project Managers across the UK Group, providing the financial expertise that ensures every initiative meets Porsche’s exacting standards. This will be a 12 month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver monthly PAG unit and financial reporting, forecasts and Group submissions.
- Lead PCGB month-end review, full-year re-forecasting and key operational reporting.
- Reconcile monthly Balance Sheet and P&L accounts with accuracy and control.
- Prepare year-end audit analysis, including stock and warranty accrual reviews.
- Evaluate sales and aftersales proposals to ensure strong financial outcomes.
- Produce margin packs for new/used cars and aftersales, including SAP Analytics submission.
- Own the monthly new-car chain calculation process.
- Provide clear financial insight to guide operational and strategic decisions.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Solid experience in finance, accounting or business analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of finance, accounting and banking systems (SAP, Concur and BI tools).
- Solid understanding of accounting legislation, audit requirements, risk management and internal controls.
- Able to manage high-complexity tasks requiring both logical and creative thinking.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience contributing to medium-level strategic initiatives or sub-projects.
- Ability to deliver special or complex tasks requiring deep theoretical and practical knowledge.
- Experience working with a German company or other Porsche/VW Group subsidiaries.
- Knowledge of automotive, finance, investment, banking or insurance sectors.
