As HR Director, you will play a pivotal role on the Executive Leadership Team for Porsche Cars Great Britain (PCGB) and Porsche Retail Group (PRG). You will shape and drive a bold, future‑focused people strategy, champion exceptional employee experiences, and ensure operational HR excellence across both organisations.

Your leadership will be central to maintaining Porsche’s position as an Employer of Choice, building a high‑performance culture, and enabling the business to achieve its strategic and operational ambitions.

Please note, this is an 18-month contract to cover maternity leave, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the people strategy, aligning HR priorities with Porsche’s long‑term business goals.
  • Shape policies and processes that elevate selection, retention, development and reward.
  • Drive organisational design, ensuring structures remain agile, efficient and legally compliant.
  • Embed a performance‑driven culture through effective reward and incentive frameworks.
  • Lead future‑focused people initiatives including Future of Work, career development and D&I.
  • Use HR analytics to inform strategic decisions and workforce planning.
  • Oversee talent acquisition to secure high‑calibre talent and meet future capability needs.
  • Drive succession planning and long‑term talent development across the organisation.

  • Lead compensation & benefits strategy, including pay, bonus, benefits and payroll oversight.
  • Strengthen employee engagement through culture, wellbeing and communication initiatives.
  • Ensure full HR compliance with internal directives and external legislation.
  • Inspire and develop the HR team to operate as strategic business partners.
  • Act as a key Executive Committee leader, shaping business plans, strategy and organisational communication.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • CIPD qualification (Level 7 preferred)/Masters Degree or equivalent.
  • Senior HR leadership experience within a complex or fast‑paced organisation.
  • Multi‑site or international exposure with an understanding of varied operational environments.
  • Sector experience in automotive, luxury or retail environments.
  • Proven leadership of HR teams with a track record of developing high‑performers.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience leading large‑scale transformation or culture‑change programmes.
  • Strong HR data and analytics capability to drive insight‑led decision‑making.
  • Background in reward or compensation strategy within a premium or high‑performance brand.
