As a Motorsport Events Assistant you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the Porsche Motorsport GB 'Centre Hospitality Programme'. You'll be tasked with developing relationships between Porsche Centres and the Motorsport department to increase activity and revenue. In addition, you will be responsible for the Porsche Night of Motorsport Awards event and will assist the Motorsport Event Planner with other events as and when required. Strong administration and time-management skills are also essential. N.B. This role requires travel in the UK and working at weekends. Please note this position is a 12-month fixed term contract through our sole supplier; Dekra.
Responsibilities
- Project Lead for Porsche Centre Hospitality Programme
- Develop commercial relationships between Motorsport and Porsche Centres
- Assist with race weekend admin, including, but not limited to: Hotel bookings, Championship Bulletins, management of Race Centre, Sponsor Hospitality Programme, Working Documents, Paddock Plans
- Assist with finance matters relating to Event Management (SAP and Concur)
- Liaison with external suppliers with joint event responsibility
- Liaison with PCGB departments where necessary
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- A Level education with experience in planning Events and working in the Hospitality sector
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in Hospitality, Events or live Event operations
- Experience in Event Planning
- Strong communication skills and experienced in managing multiple projects
- Knowledge of, or interest in Motorsport
