The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.
As PCGB's Accounts Payable Admin, you will maintain a tight level of control over the accounts payable function while continually identifying and implementing areas for improvement. Please note this is a six month Fixed Term Contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Process and post supplier invoices accurately in SAP.
- Manage supplier and internal queries, including PO issues and duplicate checks.
- Reconcile supplier statements and intercompany accounts.
- Prepare and run weekly BACS payments for UK and international suppliers.
- Match payments to invoices and reconcile the PIFL account.
- Support month-end with reconciliations and AP schedules.
- Maintain supplier master data and ensure compliance with financial controls.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong understanding and use of SAP & Concur finance system.
- Previous exposure to supporting system integrations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data sorting/filtering).
- Ability to process invoices, match POs, and manage payment runs.
Desirable Qualification:
- AAT Level 2 or Level 3 (or working toward it).
- Degree in accounting, finance, or business (not required for most AP roles).
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyse AP ageing, trends, and exceptions.
- Continuous improvement mindset and interest in process optimisation.
