Summary: We’re a small games studio currently looking to grow our dev team. We primarily focus on VR projects that highlight certain requirements to test and feedback on production tool kits. We work remotely and with fairly flexible hours, our goal is to enjoy creating fun projects that showcase specific features in a stunning and exciting way. We need someone based in the UK, who is able to pick up, understand and work with an established and expanding codebase to create various VR interactions and interfaces.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and iterating upon XR prototypes, working with industry SDKs and hardware
- Collaborate with other technical teams to build and enhance prototyping platforms
- Receive and implement feedback to improve the quality of the product
- Work closely with designers and engineers to develop and refine prototype demos
- Manage tasks effectively and contribute to regular product deliveries under guidance
Skills and Background:
- Unity, C#
- URP and Built-in pipeline experience
- Experience developing with Quest and prior knowledge of the Unity Meta Integration SDK would be useful
- Multiplayer and Networking experience is a plus but not required
- Good communication skills; comfortable with iterative process
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficiency with Git
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience required
- 1 years studio/production experience preferred
