About the Role
This is a people-first role at the heart of our studio. As Technical Concierge, you will help shape the everyday experience of the workplace—creating an environment where colleagues and visitors feel welcomed, supported and at ease. You’ll be a familiar and trusted presence, someone people naturally turn to for help, reassurance and guidance. Whether you’re preparing a space for an important client meeting or helping a colleague get set up for a presentation, your focus is on making everything feel calm, seamless and well-considered.
While technology is part of the role, this is not a deeply technical position. You don’t need to have an IT background to succeed here—what matters most is your approach: being attentive, organised, approachable and willing to learn. Support and training will be provided to help you build confidence with the tools and systems used in the studio. This is a fully studio-based role, well suited to someone who enjoys being present, connected and actively involved in the day-to-day life of a creative workplace.
Key responsibilities include:
- Be a welcoming and approachable presence within the studio, supporting colleagues, clients and visitors throughout the day.
- Create comfortable, well-prepared meeting spaces, ensuring everything is ready and in place ahead of time.
- Support meetings with quiet confidence, helping presentations and audio-visual elements run smoothly.
- Take pride in the overall look and feel of the studio, helping maintain spaces that are tidy, functional and enjoyable to work in.
- Offer practical, on-the-spot support for everyday needs—no request is too small.
- Assist with the smooth running of front-of-house systems such as room bookings, access and shared resources.
- Build positive relationships across the studio, getting to know teams and how they work.
- Work closely with Admin and IT colleagues to deliver a joined-up, supportive workplace experience.
- Spot and resolve small issues early, keeping the studio running smoothly.
- Support studio events and moments that bring people together.
Key requirements include:
- A warm, positive and service-led approach, with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, workplace support or similar roles is helpful, but not essential.
- Confidence interacting with a wide range of people in a professional environment.
- A calm, organised and thoughtful way of working.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in creating welcoming, well-presented spaces.
- A willingness to learn and build confidence with workplace technology and systems.
- A proactive mindset—you notice what needs doing and take action.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys being part of a shared environment.
About the Studio
Our Putney studio, which is also our EMEA Headquarters, is located on the banks of the River Thames, a short walk from Putney High Street and with excellent travel connections. Our employees enjoy a comprehensive and competitive benefits programme, as well as the opportunity to attend events at several Populous-designed venues.
Why Join the Team?
- Work alongside passionate, creative individuals who lead their industry, transform ideas into reality and celebrate the beauty of human connection.
