The tutoring is female-led, focusing on interactive, fun, and effective learning techniques to deepen knowledge and boost confidence. The company offers tutoring sessions in the areas of South London (Wandsworth – Greenwich) and Dorset (Wimborne, Poole, and Purbeck), with online lessons currently available.

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an in-person 11+ Tutor in the Wimborne and Poole areas of Dorset. The tutor will be responsible for providing personalised tutoring sessions, focusing on individual student needs and helping them excel in their academic performance. The role will involve conducting engaging and interactive lessons, monitoring student progress, and offering support and guidance to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in tutoring students in the 11+ curriculum
• DBS Check – within 1 year
• SEN training
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Knowledge of the educational system and curriculum in Dorset
• Patience and empathy in working with young learners
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Teaching qualification or certification is a plus

Pay

• £40 per hour
